AAUW is one of the world’s largest sources of funding exclusively for graduate women.

The AAUW supports aspiring scholars around the globe, teachers, activists in local communities, women at critical stages of their careers, and those pursuing professions where women are underrepresented. Funding for these endeavors are done at the local branches through their fundraising activities.

AAUW of Sussex County conducts the following yearly fundraiser:

Basket Raffle
Each fall, AAUW of Sussex County sponsors a mini-raffle within our membership. Our generous members donate baskets to be raffled off at our December luncheon. The proceeds go towards our scholarships and donations to charitable organizations.  Last year we raised $1450.00.
